Exciting Digital Innovations: Sportsfan, Huawei, AutoTrader, Opera, and Telkom Pay

Sportsfan has partnered with the South African Rugby Union (SARU) and MyPlayers to launch a unique collection of digital Signature Moves Springbok player trading cards. These cards are digitally signed by the players, offering fans a chance to own officially licensed and autographed memorabilia of their favorite Springbok athletes.

These exclusive digital cards will be available through the SportsFan app, a result of the collaboration with SARU and MyPlayers. Greig Ellerbeck, the operations lead at SportsFan, revealed that two distinct sets will be available at the launch. “One set features the current Springbok team, while a special Legends set celebrates the 2009 squad,” he stated.

Upon downloading the app and registering, users will receive a starter pack containing five free player cards to kickstart their collection. Additional cards can be acquired using Fan Currency. The SportsFan app enables users to collect, autograph, and trade cards with fellow enthusiasts.

How It Works

To begin collecting, download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, create a profile, and explore your free starter pack in the gallery. Additional cards can be purchased from the Card Shop using the SportsFan in-app currency. Users can request digital autographs, access live player stats, and trade signed cards on the SportsFan platform.
